So, I have NOT been able to FIND my CAMERA chord since CHRISTMAS - CHRISTMAS was a MONTH ago!!!! Well, blogging is NOT very FUN w/out any pics to WRITE about!!! Thank goodness for little girls who LOVE to draw!!! Here is the picture SADIE drew today - IT'S a depiction of her 2 TEETH that she has lost!!! IT'S hard NOT to LAUGH when you LOOK at the picture because that POOR little GIRL has ALOT of TEETH to lose!
SADIE lost (well the better description would be dramatically screamed and cried while DAD and GRANDPA pinned her down and pulled it out) her FIRST tooth 10 days ago. IT was PURE DRAMA!!! She was so excited to show Grandpa and Dad her loose tooth, and before she knew it they pinned her down and were PULLING it out!
She had another loose tooth and, yesterday, she told us "let's tie a string to my tooth and then tie it to the door so it will pull it out!!!" oh yeah - we were all for that!!! Brady rigged up the dental floss "string" and tied it to her tooth and the door - AYDEN gladly volunteered to close the door (which Reagan tried to shut 3 or 4 times BEFORE we were even ready!) and MORE drama after the door shut!! Poor Sadie was running around screaming and crying - AND her TOOTH was STILL there - "I CHANGED MY MIND, I CHANGED MY MIND, IT HURTS , IT HURTS" she kept yelling. We finally held her down again and w/ one little flick the 2nd tooth was out! She still screamed the whole time.
The tooth fairy gave her a pretty good COMPENSATION though! I looked under my PILLOW for some COMPENSATION too - no luck!!! SO, now back to the picture - SADIE drew it of herself and her missing teeth! Her TWO teeth are the bottom middle ones, but in the picture they are more to the left on the bottom row - you could tell the two teeth more to the left than the middle, were smaller than all the rest - but then she drew a tongue so all the teeth now look the SAME!! I asked her if she had a nose ring in, but she explained that the dot is her nostril ("this part" were the exact words as she pointed to it!!!) THAT is a SUMMARY of the EXCITEMENT in our LIVES . . . until I FIND my camera chord THAT will have TO do!!!

i hope you find your camera chord soon...Just kidding!!! That post was hysterical! i also thought that maybe you were trying to tell us something else by the picture. That you had let sadie pierce her nose! haha. Anyway that's great that sadie lost some more teeth!
She's quite the artist, isn't she? LOL...love the details! Oh, I sure hate losing teeth; that story made me cringe. Glad it's her and not me! LOL!
Yeah! I am glad she really did lose some teeth, we all know that she has been wanting to FOREVER!! Super funny story!!
WOW!! I want to loose a few teeth for the price the tooth fairy pays at your house! I heard about the whole experience when Jaeley got home. Now she is into wiggling all of her teeth so that the tooth fairy can visit her too. One thing I have to see is the "tooth pillow" Jaeley says we have to have a tooth pillow for the fairy to leave the tooth, so you'll have to bring it down with you so we can have a look at it!! Not that I could ever make one, may be a sock will do. Such drama, but hillarious story!
HAHA! I LOVE kids drawings - they are always good for a giggle :) Great story - I am sure Sadie will love to read this when she is older!
Oh the drama! Actually I don't blame the girl. I remember how scary it was to lose a tooth (especially when Grandpa Lifferth was around). But, that is a hilarious story. And the drawing is GREAT! Loved the post all around.
Hiya! This is Brianna (Lyman). I just wanted to say "Hi!" Oh yeah, your blog is super cute!
That's too funny! Sadie cracks me up and I LOVE her drawing.
Silly Sadie! I called and told her how beautiful her drawing was. She said her Mom must have put it on the wrong computer because she made the picture for 'her other grandma." LOL
I loved the update and the picture.
When I saw the picture and read about everything I laughed. I just found a Christmas present for Janessa tonight. Welcome to my world.
I just read mom's comment and laughed for ten minutes straight. I have tears rolling down my face. That was hysterical! Good thing mom has thick skin! :)
