Happy New Year AND HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO SADIE!!! We had a great Christmas (pics to come soon!) AND a Great New Year, then we had a BIRTHDAY!!! Sadie celebrated the big 6 years old!!! (I can't find my camera plug so you'll have to check back to see the pictures!!) This was the first picture I could find - and it makes me wish for summer to come FAST!!!
Now, a little bit about the Birthday girl -
SADIE weighed 6 lbs. 1 oz
and was born at 10:40 AM!
I still remember the night before her birth, I went to the hospital thinking I was in labor - the nurse checked me and said I was BUT sent me home and told me NOT to come back until my labor was so BAD that I COULDN'T even breath through the contractions - Hello do they want a delivery or a death??!! But, I did as I was told and stayed home - it was the LONGEST night ever (Well, not for Brady, he slept pretty good!!) - I finally went back in at 7 am and soon after received my EPIDURAL!!! Ha ha I was in HEAVEN!!!! I was SOOO comfortable I took a 45 minute nap, woke up and gave 3 pushes and little Sadie was born!!! 
This is Brady with Dr. Reiser (who saw us through the WHOLE pregnancy AND was there to deliver her too!) AND, Sadie is in there in the blanket but apparantly you can't even see her!

We lived right across the street from the hospital, so checking out was kind of funny because we didn't bring a carseat and the Nurse didn't know what to do (regulations are that you have to buckle the baby IN the car seat to leave the hospital) - the nurse finally realized she could walk us to the door and watch us walk home w/our new little bundle of joy!
And now for a trip down MEMORY LANE . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
This is Sadie at a few months old - I thought I was so creative and funny - little did I know others were thinking up the same thing AND decided to market them!

She is such a cutie! I remember how excited I was to finally get a baby girl in the family. And she is all girl, isn't she?! What a sweetheart; I can't believe she's six already!
She is such a doll! She was the lightest baby I've ever held. She is so cute, and I agree with Rachie...I can't believe she is 6 already!

Happy birthday Sadie! I remember that story about your delivery. You really did wait until you couldn't breathe and move at the same time! Some nurses! It's funny now.
I love seeing all of the updates of you and your family. Seeing you in the hall at church just doesn't cut it.
