Here are some more pictures for the Birthdays! The first picture is of Sadie and Ayden w/Ayden's birthday cake. I finally attempted to decorate a cake for him - the next picture shows it better - but don't look too close because I CAN'T decorate!! I think next year we will buy one so it looks normal!!
Ayden wanted an AIRPLANE cake - I had a great picture for an idea and it didn't quite turn out like the picture! The funniest part was when Ayden tasted the frosting and he said: "This not taste very good!" Oh great - well we won't even EAT the cake then!!!
This was Brady's first gift he received for his Birthday - at 6:30 A.M.!!! My dad bought it for him and gave me STRICT instructions to set it off the morning of his birthday. Well, Brady did call the day before so he was OFF the morning of his birthday - but COWS are ALWAYS hungry so I set it for 6:30 AM and we were all awakened to the endless "MOOO, MOOOOOOO, MOO, MOOOOO"!!! It was pretty funny - Brady couldn't quite figure it out! He thought it was a great gift - I did too so I set it to go off this morning AGAIN - this time to get my kids out of bed!!! (but they weren't as impressed - they just pulled pillows over their heads, rolled over and kept sleeping!)

LOLOL...I was wondering how things went with that alarm clock. What a great gift! And by the way, I think the cake is cute. If Ayden doesn't want it, I'll take it!!
I think you did a great job on the cake. I say keep trying and don't give up on your kids' cakes. Years from now they would never remember their store bought cakes but for sure will remember and appreciate a cake made by mom. Good job!

I love the gift! If Brady has to be away from the chores & cows, it is a great idea to bring them to him! The clock will make him feel right at home!
