Scotland Trip . . . FINALLY!

We left for Scotland on June 12th - flew for 4+ hours to JFK, had a short layover, then on the plane again for almost 7 hours. We landed in Edinburgh, Scotland around 7 am. Brady and I were excited to use our FIRST passport for the FIRST time!! Customs was fine and they let us right through!!
We went w/Ron Yardley, his wife Hillary, his Mom Elizabeth and his sister Candice! Elizabeth is from Scotland so she was basically our tour guide!! Her sister came in a taxi and picked us up at the airport - we then drove to her house in Musselbrough! The time change was hard to get used to - they are 7 hours ahead of us!!
We toured around Musselbrough the first few days - this is Brady in front of the "bowling green" - too bad there weren't any games going on to watch!
This is a picture of the small river and a private school on the other side - Elizabeth (our "tour guide!") grew up in the house right here, we are looking out the front window and this is their view!
Hillary and I at the beach we walked to - it was kind of chilly and the water looks brown (it didn't look so bad in person!!) so we just took a picture instead of getting in!!!
These are some shops inMusselbrough and that is the big church in the background - it was so fun to see the old beautiful buildings!!! Definitely a lot older than anything you can find in Utah!
Brady is standing in front of the house we stayed in!! Our friends are walking in the background - Notice the window washer - they ALWAYS wash their windows and they look great!!
