Fourth Bridge and more castle

We took a boat ride around the area of the "Fourth Bridge" ( named so because it is the 4th largest bridge in the world!) - and this island w/the cool ruins was there - it is now a bird sanctuary

Inside the Edinburgh castle in the "dungeon" part - the prisoners slept on the hanging cloth and ate bread (which was very HARD!) and water - it was dark and musty - I wouldn't even want to work there let alone have to be a prisoner!

Also inside the castle, this was the entrance to another museum part - notice the statues on each side of the entrance high up on the wall - everything was very decorative!!

This is the "Fourth Bridge" - it has a lot of scaffolding around it - but very impressive!!

This was another part of Edinburgh - the steeple in the background is that monument we went up - I loved all these old buildings!!!
