I still have more pics of our trip to post - but I thought I should give you a break and update the many distractions that I have had in the mean time!!! This is Ayden and his eye - he fell on a sharp object and it cut him under his eye AND right on his eyelid . . .
So, we had to call a few of the people Brady works with, and after 3 opinions, the conclusion was stitches - but it could not just be stitches because it was his eyelid - we had to schedule the OR and do an actual case! AND (since it was after hours) it was Brady on call??!!! It all worked out, though, and the eye Dr. stitched his eye up, the staff was awesome and we still paid $1500 even after HUGE discounts - but we are glad Ayden is doing great!! He never even complained or pulled at his stitches!

This was Ayden after his visit to the hospital for stitches - yes, you can probably see that Addi has had some injuries as well - I DO watch my kids!!! Brady was gone for a few days and he arrived home just in time to help me take Ayden for the third opinion on his eye (so not long after the accident!!) and he saw how beat up Addi looked too!!!!

Little Addi was playing around by me while we were outside washing the car, and she took a tumble right on the pavement - she fell down and (as you can tell!!) her forehead hit first and skidded along - her little nose also sticks out enough to get a little scrape - this picture was soon after so look past the scrapes and notice she can still smile!!!! (No, I DID NOT push her down!!)

So these are a FEW (FOUR TO BE EXACT!!) of my distractions - but at least they are happy and HEALTHY now so we'll keep them - IF they will keep us!!!!

Poor kids! It's painful being a child, isn't it?! Glad they are both okay...Ayden's eye looks awful! I miss your cute buddies.
Ayden's eye does look so awful...but what a brave boy he is to not even complain...I would be freaking out! Poor little Addi! I'm glad that the others are ok!
How sad! Maybe you ought to just lock up your kids until they turn 18 yrs. old. They should be safer that way!
