Boys will be Boys!!

So it's been an eventful week! The first incident was little Reagan - he likes to clean out the kitchen cupboards. This time he tried to pull out the "george foreman grill" and it landed right on his big toe - OUCH!!! It was so sad - he cried and screamed and kept shaking his foot - the picture was taken today and it actually happened almost a week ago (and it still looks very painful.) His toe is dark blue and it looks like he just has blue fingernail polish on it - if only!!!!

The next incident was Ayden at our new house. He was throwing trash out the back door and fell out - it's a 3 foot drop to the ground and he knocked his head right on a big rock! I was coming around the corner of the house and heard him whimpering and I asked Brady what was wrong - he just turned Ayden around and I could see blood running down the back of his head (Brady is ALWAYS calm!!) - we took him to the Dr. (Brady's friend helping us out) and he decided to put in 3 stitches - no charge and NO ER!!

Now we are all home again and the kids walk around w/helmuts on and protective gear! haha not really and this has been our FIRST hospital injury so I guess we are doing okay!!

Hi Sarah! I actually look at your blog when I look at Ruth's. It's fun to keep up on the hometown people. Anyway, your little boy's toe looks so sore. I actually work for a foot doctor so we see this kind of stuff all the time. I'll bet you already guessed it, but he'll probably loose his toenail. Welcome to the life of having boys. I hate to tell you, but my little guy is 6 and, it doesn't get much easier. This summer he crashed his bike and broke his nose. We ended up having to have surgery to fix it. Good Luck with your boys and future accidents!

OUCH! They both look painful, but that toe really makes me sad! I bet he looses that toe nail.

Oh, my poor little buddies! That makes me so sad! Please bring them to my house so I can give them kisses and cookies and make it all better. And of course, you have to bring Sadie too. She's still eligible even though she's not injured. :)

Oh ouch!! Poor kids. They say when it "rains" it "pours!" Maybe it's your turn for a dry spell. Good luck!

Ayden's head looks bad! When you told me, I didn't think that it would look like that. And little Reagan! His toe too looks worse than before! The good ol' ER, that is worth missing!

You're lucky if these are your first accident experience. Kellin had quite a few by the time he was Ayden's age.

I am just stinkin excited you didn't have to pay the doctor bill. Ben split the back of his head last summer. 1200 dollars baby! We know the ER a little too well.
