Sadie's Birthday!

"You've had a Birthday shout HOORAY!!
We want to sing to you today!!
One year older and wiser too
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!!!

It was Sadie's 5th Birthday on January 2nd! She was so excited to be the "Birthday Girl!" She received lots of nice presents from Grandma's and Grandpa's and family - THANK YOU! She also had a busy day talking on the phone to everyone who called to wish her happy birthday! She helped decorate her own birthday cake - that was what she wanted (which was fine by me!!) and she wanted it to be PINK!!

Wow! I can't believe she is 5! I remember when she was born! It looks like she had a GREAT birthday and she sang that exact same song to me when I talked to her on the phone! We tried to sing the regular b-day song to her but she told me I was singing it wrong and I was silly because the other song was the correct song! Silly us!!!

That's funny, Ruth. How could you not know the correct song?! lol.

It's been fun spending time with the bradshaws lately. Sadie is such a cute girl; I can't believe she is five years old! I remember the day you called us (me & mom) in tears because you had gone to the dr hoping he would admit you and instead he sent you home. I think you had her the next day! :) She's definitely a keeper!
