We would also like to pay our respects to this GREAT Prophet! The news of his death was surprising, but we all know he had many loved ones to meet on the other side! I think the thing I remember most our President Hinckley was his ability to always laugh and make others laugh too! He always had a big smile!

I loved his sense of humor. I think that is one of the things that made him so relatable
When I was on my mission, we took a recent convert to the annual General Women's Conference. Beforehand, we told the convert about President Hinckley and that he has such a great sense of humor and all that. Well, to our surprise he was quite stern that day! It was when he issued the Family Proclamation, so he was definitely dealing with serious issues. It was a good reminder to me that while he could be jovial and entertaining, he bore a heavy responsibility that was with him constantly. And even when he was "calling us to repentance", he was still able to convey his love and compassion. What an amazing man.
